I'm attending NERFA for the first time (been to FAI though), and I'm trying to make sure I get a chance to share my music. I'm actually from Vermont and Maryland--although I've also lived in Connecticut, Boston, and Providence, RI--so this feels like my local conference, even though it's a long trip from Nashville.

Below is a brief bio and a link to my EPK, website, and facebook page. Please email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for more info. Thanks and I look forward to meeting everyone!

Bio: Sage Snider fiddles, sings, and tap dances—yes, at the same time. Conversing with her great-great-grandfather’s fiddle, great-grandmother’s mandolin, and occasionally her 5-string electric Viper looped through her pedalboard, this contemporary songster invites audiences into her musical adventures. Informed by her studies in music history and museums from Yale and Brown, Sage mixes fairytales with chopping, folksongs with feminism, and flatfooting with distortion. Her work has been featured at the Smithsonian, The Yale University Art Gallery, Smugglers' Notch Ski Resort, and the Brown University Folk Festival. Currently, you’re likely to find Sage philosophizing with banjos and steel guitars in Nashville, TN.
