Dedications and Donations

This dedication page is something our community has been asking for as a way to honor someone and give a gift of love to NERFA at the same time. Last year was the first year we had a special dedication section in our program book which was quite well received. You can, without asking for a special suite, make a smaller donation and still send a special message to someone. This page will absolutely go to bed by October 10. Do contact us immediately to be part of this new addition.

Hotel Suite Sponsorships

Those of you who were with us the first year remember the Stamford Crowne Plaza has some extra spectacular rooms available for a bit more rent. A Junior Suite is an extra-large room which, in addition to the sleeping area, has a kitchenette and a sitting area with a sofa bed. An Executive Suite is a two-room suite with a separate bedroom and a large living room with a sofa bed and a dining room-kitchen combination. That first year these rooms were made available along with the standard rooms and, since there are so few of them, they were all grabbed up within 3 days.

This year we are providing the opportunity to rent these rooms to our sponsors – and that could be you!!

You can rent a Junior Suite for $159 a night and a $100 sponsorship or an Executive Suite for $199 a night plus a $200 sponsorship. In addition to your name being listed on our sponsorship page, you can dedicate your donation to a special event like a birth, anniversary, graduation, etc. or in memory of a departed love one.

Other Sponsorship Opportunities

We do have several other sponsorship scenarios which may interest you. These all come with a listing on our sponsorship page and an opportunity to rent one of our Junior or Executive Suites while they are still available.

About Club Passim:
Although it didn’t adopt its current name until incorporating as a nonprofit in1994, Club Passim has its roots in what was then Club 47, a folk club that opened its doors at another Cambridge location in 1958 before moving to its current location on Palmer Street five years later and changing its name to Passim in 1969. Passim has been a cornerstone of the arts community of New England for more than half a century. Located in the heart of Harvard Square, Club Passim is one of the few “listening rooms” in the greater Boston-Cambridge area. It’s a place where audiences and artists can interact with one another in an intimate setting. More than 400 shows are presented each year, featuring artists from a broad range of musical genres. A musical Mecca for the folk and singer-songwriter scene since its early days, Passim retains a folk aesthetic. Among the many folk luminaries who have graced its stage are Joan Baez, Shawn Colvin, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Tom Rush, and Suzanne Vega.
